about
Hello. I did a thing. Thank you for being awesome.
lyrics
hey it's been a while, how's your newest fix?
seems she's got a taste for a mouthful of dic-
tionaries haven't enough words to say
all the lovely ways in which I'd like to claim
your girlfriend is a cunt x2
she's as false as santa claus and just as fat
in treating you well, y'know, she surely lacks
cheating on you, bitching at you night and day
it's a wonder that she hasn't made you gay
your girlfriend is a cunt x2 (or 4, depending on audience)
calling you at 3am just to yell
"oh my god I saw this bitch post 'hey' on your Facebook wall who the fuck is she"
making your financial life a living hell
"okay if you want me to come see you you have to pay for my gas money and phone bills so I can text all my friends while we're hanging out"
can't you see she's crazy and unhealthy, too?
"okay I'm gonna fuck all your friends and tell you about it and still take pictures of you while you're sleeping"
I'm just saying this because I care about you!
your girlfriend is a cunt x4

A friend of mine back in 2004 pointed me to this track and I was mesmerized. Been a huge Illogic fan ever since! Very nostalgic listening to this again presently. I would love to get this album in vinyl record to add to my collection. :) fyrin

One of the more sprawling and eclectic albums in the Taxpayers catalogue, A Rhythm In The Cages isn't as airtight as some of its siblings, but it is absolutely bursting with incredible songs. Punk, blues, folk, noise, and unclassifiable weirdness abound. "Militaristic Kitchen," "Dig Too Deep," "Cuyahoga Canal," and "Stealing Apples From The Man" are all eccentric, hooky classics that will live in your head for days. There's really something for everyone here. K.R.K.
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
